Richard Moran founded Moran and Associates in 1991. In 1995, the firm expanded and changed its name to MTM Financial Group. Rich is the President and Managing Partner for the Firm. Since it's inception, MTM Financial Group has been affiliated with the Securian Financial Network. The Firm is a multiple year winner of Securian's prestigious Masters Club award.

As a Managing Partner, Rich oversees the selection, training, support, and supervision of all the Firm's advisors. His work has led to many of them having qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table and other prestigious industry and Securian awards. Mr. Moran and his staff also oversee the servicing of the needs of many of Securian's Connecticut clients.

Beside his leadership duties within the Firm, Rich also maintains his own client planning practice. He uses his 43 years of experience to help them in the areas of estate, protection and business continuation planning.

Rich is a graduate of Colgate Universitry and has served in many civic and charitable associations over the years including the Presidency of the St. Raphael's Hospital Foundation and the Orange Little League. He was a long time member of the Orange Board of Eduaction and officiated High School Football for over twenty years.

Rich lives in Hamden with his wife, Anne. They have three grown sons and six grandchildren.
