He concentrates much of his client work in the areas of business continuation, protection, compensation and wealth accumulation planning.

He joined the firm in 1991 after receiving an MBA from the College of William and Mary. Mr. Moran also received a BA from the University or Richmond in 1986 where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Delta Leadership Society and named "Most Outstanding Contributer to University and Student Life" during his junior year. Prior to returning to school for his Masters degree, he had worked in a managerial capacity for several closely held corperations.

Mr. Moran is a member of the Financial Planners Association, the National Association of Financial and Investment Advisors and the General Agents and Managers Association. He is a multple qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table and a recipient of the National Quality Award from NAIFA.

Mr. Moran carries series 7, 24, and 65 FINRA registrations as well as a Connecticut Life and Health Insurance license. He is a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College. Mr. Moran served two terms as President of Agency Management Resource Group (AMRG) of the Securian Financial Network. The membership of the AMRG consists of management and developement personnel from the over 50 firms associated with the Securian Financial Network nationally.

He has also been involved in numerous community and charitable organizations including having served as a two term President of the Orange Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, Mr. Moran serves as a high school football official and has performed as an actor and singer in a number of local area concert and musical theater productions. He currently lives in Hamden with his wife, Dawn, son,Collin ,and daughter, Kayli.
